Peeples Baking's owner, Amy Peeples, has always had a love of baking. As a young girl, she would routinely mix up a batch of chocolate chip cookie dough and bake off trays of cookies while trying not to eat all of the unbaked dough. Amy has fond memories of her mom baking up delicious sweet and savory treats throughout her life and of making pie with her Pop Pop whose own parents had a bakery where he spent time as a youth. Amy's love of baking became strengthened after the passing of Pop Pop when she decided to go to the California Culinary Academy's Baking and Pastry Arts Program. This turned her love of baking into a career path in 2001. 

Along with her move to Portland, OR in January, 2020, Amy put her baking business on hold. Then COVID happened. She has used her time to recreate her business and start down another path. She opened a full service coffee and food cart in February, 2021 at the Multnomah French Quarter pod located at 3518 SW Multnomah Blvd, Portland, serving up delicious sweet and savory breakfast and lunch items as well as dinner on Fridays.

Peeples Baking was originally based in Redwood City, CA until they relocated to Portland, OR.
